Has anyone experienced criticism, judgement or any other negative response regarding your light/energy/healing work? If so, how do you deal with it, what is the best way to explain your work to the “unenlightened” and do people look for chickens in your yard?

who are the people that are questioning your work, afraid of your abilities and skeptical of anything metaphysical-family, friends and co-workers? How do you proactively deal with this situation? Do you receive mixed messages of acceptance coupled with fear and disbelief? How do you deal with these situations in a positive manner without compromising your craft, beliefs and spirit?

I have discussed these opportunities (never a problem, merely an opportunity!) with other lightworkers and there is a common thread of pain, embarrassment and frustration among them.

Please respond to my question in a mature, professional and respectful manner. We are all here to help one another. Happy thoughts of love, peace and light

I’ve hooked up a sprinkler in my backyard and I let my blue healers go outside and play. They’re kenneled most of the day and it’s a great way to exercise them because they love jumping for the water. After about 10 minutes or so, they literally can’t walk… and just lay there. I also have a small wading pool and they collapse into it and don’t move for about 5 minutes, then finally get up and start walking around.

My husband says I’m working them too hard, and hurting them. But, their tales are wagging the entire time and they seem happy to be jumping for the water spurts.

They have been incredibly destructive, which is why I kennel them. Now that they are almost 2 years old, they’ve calmed down a bit and I’m trying to get them to be part of our daily lives outside of the kennels. The first place to start is to give them a good work out when they come out of the kennel. Afterwards, they listen to me, they’re not full of energy and we’re all happy.

Am I hurting them?

I am pitching a radio talk show idea to my local radio station. I want to hear some ideas of what topics you would like to hear about related to hypnosis. I am going to provide some choices, but please also feel free to submit your own ideas!

1) A talk show where we focus on a different issue each week and I guide the audience through a visualization for overcoming the issue ie: stop smoking, weight loss, creating wealth, improving relationships, etc.

2 A talk show that looks at the mind and various aspects of hypnosis and alternative healing. It would have guest speakers who are healers and they could talk about their different approaches to healing

3) A talk show called Secrets Revealed: the idea is that each person who phones in has a different issue that they want to find the root cause of. I use hypnosis to help them uncover intimate details about their issue

4) A 15 minute intro with some inspiring quotes, then random callers who can bring up any issue and have me hypnotize them on radio to assist with their issue

5) Any other great ideas?

Hello, I am feeling called to life as a healer, but I don’t know what that means, really.

I have always been one to pick up and help the injured animals, sometimes helping creatures that seem barely hanging onto life to be healthy again, mostly by intuition.

That same intuition tells me that I should be placing my hands on animals and people and relieving emotional and physical pain and injury, and promoting healing.

After researching online, I find that I am drawn to Quantum Touch, Reiki, and EFT. Can anyone tell me more about these things, and the best way to learn them?

Are the website claims true, that “everyone” can heal if they are properly trained?

I don’t have a lot of money to spend (actually very little at this time). I live in central Washington state. Ideally I would like to network with others who heal by touch and/or energy and learn more about this mysterious and apparently “right” way of helping others.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated

sorry for the double post. not sure how that happened. just want to also say that energy healing does work. i hurt my foot and couldn’t walk for a week, but the day after I saw a healer (and felt weird sensations in my legs) I was walking for miles. Worked for me.
